They also found that while extraversion results correlated with their hypothesis for the occupations of managers and sales, agreeableness was not a necessary factor for success. Finally their suppositions regarding openness to experience showed how employees who have a positive attitude towards their training have a significant advantage over other applicants and were more likely to receive the benefits for which the training was designed for (Barrick and Mount 1991).
