This study will adapt Soft systems methodology (SSM) and action research approaches. Soft systems methodology (SSM) was developed by Peter Checkland (2006). This methodology is designed to develop problematic situation interventions needed in the context of an organization in terms of its management and policy development, where there is no straightforward ‘problem’ or easy ‘solution’. Refer to the diagram below (Figure Detailed Action Research Model Adapted from Susman 1983).
The study will also facilitate processes into an overall conceptual model of the change ‘system,’ identify any meta-processes needed for the overall transition management, and developing them into the project plans.
