The research strategies applied in this study are case study and survey. This is because as a case study, the research aims studying Square Pharmaceutical and the factors that led to the expansion of the markets globally. It gives a detailed analysis from a development point of view. As a survey, the research strategy inspects the topic in question by looking at all the aspects that are associated with underlying issues (Watkins & Fowler, 2002: 67).
Sampling has been used in this study where the questionnaires were given to certain people. Sampling has also been used in the selection of issues that are to be discussed. The ideas that were considered key to research problem were selected from those that were less important. It is an important element of data collection (Hassan & Kaynak, 1999: 84).
