China’s aid to Africa is affecting the aid industry as a whole. The aid industry has been regulated by conditions, which are softening as time goes on. However, China is doing away with all the conditions, and therefore, World Bank and other lending countries are finding it hard to regulate their aids. If the move made by China is followed, aids will not be for helping needy countries anymore but using them.
The donors are giving out aids for funding projects but this will change for the donors will be giving out aids so that they can benefit by doing business with the borrowers (Dalpino, 2005).
