  1. The Buying Process:

The product which has been chosen for this particular assignment is Professional Chef Stove. This product would come under the heading of consumer goods.  As we know that the consumer buying process is a complex procedure and for this purpose the marketer needs to understand the consumer behavior of that particular segment to fulfill their requirements in a better way. Before actually purchasing a product the consumer go through a process of decision making which is often known as the consumer decision making process (Lamb, Hair, & McDaniel, 2008).

As far as our product that is Professional Chef Stove is concerned the buying process would be that first of all there would be need which would be on the side of the customer. This need can arise because of any reason may it be performance, or convenience, or style or any other factor. Once the need is being generated then the customer would look out for the product in the market. This is a very important step where the marketer needs to cash in; with the product properly distributed and available in the market the customer would get attracted towards the product. The thirds step would be the evaluation of alternatives; the reason of this step is because there are so many products available in the market that the customer gets confuse what to do. In this step they would eliminate those options that are not fulfilling their requirements. After that when the customer is fully satisfied with the product then they purchase the product. The process ends up in the last stage which is the post purchase behavior; this might be positive or negative depending on the consumer’s experience with that product (Lamb, Hair, & McDaniel, 2008).
