Invented in the year 1886 by Dr. John S. Pemberton, Coca Cola enterprise is the largest marketer, producer and distributor of Coca Cola products. The company operates around the world but primarily their business is set up in North America. Its headquarters is located in Atlanta. The company employs around 72,000 people which is enough to understand the magnitude of the company (Datamonitor, 2009).

Revenue Analysis:

During the year 2008 the company recorded revenues of $21,807 million, which was an increase of 4.2% as compared to the year 2007. As we have written above that North America is the company’s largest market, it has contributed the most in its revenue that is 69.6% revenue were generated from this region (Datamonitor, 2009).

Tactical Plan Overview:

The term tactical planning means a method by which any company establishes, and prioritizes their strategic targets.  These initiatives include what market to enter, what product to launch, and how to compete with other competitors in a better way.

In this case we are dealing with Coca Cola so one thing is for sure that is a mature company with tons of experience on their back, so the tactical plan of Coca Cola would primarily revolve around its growth.

In this regard the company is in constant looking for opportunities in which they can grow, how to capture market share from other competitors, and how to influence consumers to use more and more Coca Cola products (Klein, 2008).
