Our world faces serious problem related to pollution. Our living style affects our mother earth unfavorably. Our factories, vehicles, excessive use of air conditioner and a huge amount of garbage production have wounded our world. Serious measures have to be taken in order to reduce pollution. One of these measurements is Waste minimization. Waste minimization is a process through which the production of waste can be reduced.

I will focus on the methods one can adopt to reduce their household waste production, and will also explain the ways one can recycle different waste products.

Recycling waste:
- Recycle plastic bottles by hanging them on the wall and grow your plants on these.
- Collect all the crayons your child has stopped using, melt then and pour each color separately onto clear glass. Candles can also be made by using this method.
- Never throw you torn clothes, you can always make a small dress from it for your little ones.
- Use different sizes of shoes boxes to divide your drawer into many small sections. It will help you to organize your things well.
- You can always use empty jars and containers as an ornamental purpose.
- Try to reuse the plastics bags, carry them whenever you go for shopping to avoid buying new bags.
Aforementioned are few methods that can help you to reduce your waste production. Minimizing waste will not only save our planet from being destroyed, but it can also be profitable for us. Most recycling ideas save you from wasting your money. It can be seen that by reusing items, and avoiding disposable things, one can save a lot of money annually. Changing the ways of our lives for the prosperity of our planet is a very good deed. If every single person would reduce his/her amount of household waste, this will, collectively, make a huge difference. It is true indeed that every little bit helps.
