The concept of justice is not a new term and has always been in the history. The majority were liable to provide justice to the minority but the successful implementation of unbiased and fair treatment was always the cause of distress in the society. However, today the outlook of things have changed and people stand for their rights in every walk of life. In organizations as well earlier biases and unnecessary favors were extremely in culture. People who were incapable or smart would earn the favour of their employers and would achieve unnecessary favours from them. The efforts put forward by each employee were same but the benefits that they used to get in return of these efforts was considerably different.
This was the major cause of concern and mishap in an organization as this biased and unfair treatment used to result in unsatisfied and de-motivated individuals that would eventually effect their performances. This injustice would decrease the amount of hard work employees employ in their work hence impacting the overall productivity and profitability of the organization
Justice
Distributive, procedural and interaction are three major types of justice being implemented. When the monetary benefits of an employees are being fulfilled it is known as distributive justice as it deals with the wages and other monetary rewards while when employees are benefited in the daily procedures of an organization it is known as procedural justice.
When the equality is being maintained in the communication and personal relationship of managers and employees then this type of justice is termed as interactional justice.
For every organization these basic forms of justice must be implemented on regular basis as it highlights and represents the complete organizations justice system in general.
Through this system employees feels protected and safe from any kind of politics taking place at organizations. This provides a sense of security to the employees that they would be given their proper rights and no biases or unfair attitude would be reflected on them.
Trust
The trust level between the employers and employees enhances due to this. According to the motivational theory presented by Maslow’s and Herzberg these factors are necessary to boost the self esteem of an individual.
In every organization, there is a hierarchy of employees. Some employees are designated at the executive position while some are employees of middle and lower level respectively. For every level, there is a pay scale along with a reward and benefits system.
Apart from that the number of promotions an employee gets also depends upon the effort that individual has been employing in his work and the dedication he has for the organization
